- Payment information: when you buy a package, payment is processed by our payment provider (PayFast). We do not store your card or bank details on our servers.
- Device information: a notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you reminders and updates.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide AI tutoring, quizzes, study plans and other features.
- To manage your account, packages and credits.
- To send you notifications such as reminders and important updates.
- To improve the Service and build shared learning content that benefits all students.
3. AI Processing
To answer your questions, the text you send may be processed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic’s Claude API). We share only the content needed to generate your answer. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the app (for example: our hosting provider, PayFast for payments, Firebase for notifications, and the AI provider for answers), and only as needed to provide the Service or when required by law.

Studyfy AI is designed for students. If a user is under 13, a parent or guardian should set up and supervise the account. Parents can request access or deletion of their child’s data at any time.
